After School Learning Center
Where students from third grade to high school will benefit based on individual needs. Curriculum support is designed to provide resources for children of moderate economic means while helping ELLs (English Language Learners) gain English fluency, solidify academic gains, and develop social skills in a fun, low-pressure learning environment. We will help every student reach their educational potential by working directly with on-site educators, and parents to better assess the needs of the child toward success. Our priority will be to incorporate constant communication between program staff, the school, and parents to ensure needs are met, parents are engaged, and every child is given a chance to succeed. This program will allow kids to avoid negative exposures to unsupervised street activities that can be harmful to them and will encompass a summer program that will help with language fluency, and experiential learning. We will strive to provide differentiated education based on each student’s previous exposure to academics.
