Rochester Global Refugee Services is an international-based organization. Our mission is to aid in the resettlement of refugee and immigrant groups in the United States and international humanitarian response projects by providing assistance, training, resources referral, and connecting them to opportunities that promote self-sufficiency.
Our board members, staff, volunteers, and partners have considerable experience helping refugees and immigrants succeed, and we are ideally positioned to make a difference. The expertise and tremendous value of the organization lie in firsthand experience as former refugees including the Founder and CEO of the organization. This however proves its unique knowledge, both culturally, and linguistically, of the populations we serve.
Our success has been achieved through partnerships with other organizations; rather than trying to provide all services on our own, we work with a network of partners, including representatives from non-profits, healthcare providers, refugee services providers, and municipal and state government to connect refugees to the services they need.
