Who we are
Rochester Global Refugee Services is an international-based organization located in Rochester, New York. Our mission is to aid in the resettlement of refugee and immigrant groups in the United States and international humanitarian response projects by providing assistance, training, resources, and opportunities that promote self-sufficiency. RGRS has developed the resources and capabilities to foster the self-sufficiency and integration of new Americans, including the development of an experienced, multinational, and multilingual staff and consultant team to aid our local as well as international programs.

Leadership
Our staff, volunteers, and partners have considerable experience helping refugees and immigrants succeed, and we are ideally positioned to make a difference. The expertise and tremendous value of the organization lie in firsthand experience as former refugees including RGRS's Founder and CEO. This however proves its unique knowledge, both culturally, and linguistically of the populations we serve.
Community Partners
Our success has been achieved through partnerships with other organizations; rather than trying to provide all services on our own, we work with a network of partners, including representatives from non-profits, healthcare providers, refugee services providers, and municipal and state government to connect refugees to the services they need.
